WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL PHOTOSHOOT
A lot of photographers have probably shot at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA. Unfortunately, I am not one of those photographers. This shoot is the first time I've ever laid my eyes on this stunning piece of architecture! The building stands out with its shiny exterior and angled structure. Needless to say, it was an absolute DREAM taking photos there.
If you plan to do your family photography session there here are 3 tips that will help prepare you for your shoot!
Tip # 1: opt for a sunrise/early session
I know, I know! Waking up early SPECIALLY WITH KIDS, is not the greatest. BUT! I promise you it is well worth it. There are less people in the area which means you get to enjoy not getting stared at while you pose for pics, there'll be less distractions for your little one, and you get the space to yourself! Another great thing about an earlier session is you'll get a parking spot near the building!
Tip # 2: WEAR FORMAL / SEMI-FORMAL OUTFIT
First I'm making you wake up early and now I'm asking you to bougie it up and wear a formal attire?? WHY? Well, because of the architecture and look of the venue. If you wear something super casual, it wouldn't look as great in the photos, you'd look underdressed and the architecture will overpower you and your family. The architecture of the Concert Hall calls for something more classy and formal, it is a concert hall after all.
TIP # 3: WEAR/BRING COMFORTABLE SHOES
Last but not the least, please be prepared for a lot of walking up the stairs so comfy footwear is a must! It's a huge area and your feet will thank you for bringing a pair of flats/comfy shoes.
